The Skid Design Engineer / Project Engineer will support the design, development, and optimization of CIP/SIP systems for hygienic industries such as Food, Pharma, and Beverage. The role involves working on new installations as well as remediation projects, coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and clients to deliver efficient and compliant skid-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the design and optimization of
CIP/SIP systems
for hygienic industries (Food, Pharma, Beverage), including new installations and retrofit/remediation projects.
Assist in preparing
User Requirement Specifications (URS)
and
Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS)
.
Perform
hydraulic calculations
and design process circuits to ensure correct flow rates, pressures, and effective cleaning.
Develop
Mass Balance calculations
,
Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs)
, and
Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
.
Work on
skid design and layout
, ensuring compliance with hygienic and industry standards.
Coordinate with
clients, vendors, automation teams, and design engineers
throughout the project lifecycle.
Visit client sites for
initial concept development, surveys, and project discussions
as required.
Support project execution activities and ensure design deliverables are completed on time.
Qualifications & Experience:
DME / BE
in Mechanical, Piping Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
Experience working with
Pharma or Food OEMs
is mandatory.
Good understanding of
process control strategies, automation systems, and clean utility systems
.
Proficiency in
AutoCAD, Visio, and SolidWorks
.
Strong communication skills with
fluency in English
.
Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
