Job description:

Key Responsibilities

I. 3D Modeling and Design Execution

3D Model Development: Execute the 3D parametric modeling of equipment, piping, pipe supports, structural elements, and instrumentation for complete process units, individual skids, or plant sections. Piping Routing: Apply expert knowledge of fluid dynamics and process requirements to define optimal piping routes, considering operability, maintenance access, and construction feasibility (piping routing, layout, and placement). Skid Design Specialization: Lead the detailed piping design within space-constrained modular skid units, focusing on density, component integration, and adherence to transportation/lifting requirements. Deliverables Generation: Produce and ensure the quality, accuracy, and consistency of all core piping deliverables, including General Arrangement (GA) drawings,detailed isometrics, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
II. Technical Compliance and Analysis

Standards Adherence: Rigorously follow international engineering codes (e.g., ASME, API, EN) and specific project specifications relating to piping, structures, vessels, and equipment. Design Integrity: Engage in the mark-up and review of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) to ensure the translation of process requirements into the physical design model is accurate. Quality Assurance (QA): Perform meticulous self-reviews of all produced drawings and models to ensure zero clashes, adherence to dimensions, and overall design quality before formal checks. Value Engineering: Apply sound knowledge of Product Design, Value Engineering, and Process & Manufacturing Engineering to optimize designs for cost reduction, simplified fabrication, and enhanced operational lifespan.
III. Collaboration and Documentation

Design Review Resolution: Actively participate in design reviews (e.g., 3D model reviews) and effectively resolve comments from internal teams and external clients in a timely manner. Progress Reporting: Accurately update and maintain design progress within designated document control and reporting systems. Interdisciplinary Coordination: Collaborate with the Mechanical, Structural, and Process Engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of piping design with other disciplines.
