Designation- Piping Design Engineer.

Location- Kuruli phata

Chakan, Pune.

Experience:

3- 5 Years

Software-

: Unigraphics software, piping routing, Auto CAD 3D, Solid edge, P&ID, PDMS, Skid designing, Microsoft office, catia.

Industry-

Piping Industry.

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare and review

piping layouts, isometric drawings, GA drawings, and P&IDs

. Perform

piping stress analysis

, material selection, and pipe sizing. Develop

3D models

using software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, PDMS, E3D, or Plant 3D. Ensure all designs comply with

ASME, API, ASTM

, and relevant engineering codes. Coordinate with mechanical, civil, instrumentation, and process engineering teams. Prepare

BOM, MTO, and technical documentation

. Conduct site visits for measurements, feasibility checks, and inspections. Support procurement with

technical specifications

and vendor evaluation. Troubleshoot design issues and provide engineering solutions. Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in piping design activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma / BE in

Mechanical Engineering or related field

. 2-7 years of experience in

piping design

. Strong knowledge of

piping standards, materials, and manufacturing processes

. Expertise in 2D & 3D piping design software: AutoCAD SolidWorks Plant 3D / PDMS / E3D Caesar II (for stress analysis) Good understanding of

P&ID interpretation

and industrial equipment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork
