We are looking for an experienced

SP3D Piping Layout Engineer

with strong knowledge in piping design, layout, and 3D modeling for EPC/Oil & Gas/Industrial projects. The ideal candidate should be proficient in

Intergraph Smart 3D (SP3D)

and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Develop

3D piping layouts

in SP3D as per project specifications, codes, and standards.

Prepare equipment layout, piping GA drawings, isometrics, and MTO.

Coordinate with process, mechanical, civil, instrumentation, and electrical teams.

Create routing for complex piping systems ensuring clash-free design.

Review vendor drawings and incorporate relevant information.

Perform model reviews and resolve clashes using SmartPlant Review (SPR).

Ensure design compliance with ASME/ANSI/API standards.

Support construction and resolve site queries (if required).

Work within project deadlines and quality expectations.

Required Skills

Strong proficiency in

SP3D Piping

(mandatory).

Good understanding of piping design codes and engineering principles.

Experience in equipment modeling, pipe supports, nozzles, and rack routing.

Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and PFDs.

Knowledge of material specifications and piping components.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have

Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, or Power projects.

Knowledge of SmartSketch, MicroStation, or AutoCAD.

Exposure to FEED & Detailed Engineering projects.
