Designation: Pipeline Pilot (PLP) Protocol Developer (Biovia application/systems)

Qualification: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum

3+ years of relevant experience years in Pipeline Pilot, ETL workflow development and related Biovia platforms (Discoverant, PRIMR)

Work Timing: US (

PST/EST

) Hours (Work schedule can be split into

4 hours PM (IST) and 4 hours AM (PST/EST) working hours once KT (Knowledge Transfer) days are completed for new Joiners - depending on daylight saving)

Job Role: We are seeking a results-driven

BIOVIA Pipeline Pilot Protocol Developer to join our R&D/Manufacturing IT team. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing ETL pipelines, integrating scientific and process data, and developing custom reporting and visualization tools within the BIOVIA suite. Experience working in regulated biopharmaceutical environments, with a strong understanding of data modelling, compliance, and front-end development using PRIMR and web technologies, is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows and data protocols using

BIOVIA Pipeline Pilot.*
Create web services and RESTful integrations leveraging

Pipeline Pilot and

Python scripting.*
Develop process data hierarchies within

BIOVIA Discoverant using

SQL and

PL/SQL.*
Implement data entry forms and dashboards using

BIOVIA PRIMR

, integrating

HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

.*
Collaborate with data scientists, IT teams, and domain experts to capture user requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.*
Ensure compliance with

GxP/GMP standards, working closely with QA/Validation teams.*
Document and maintain version-controlled repositories of developed protocols and components.*
Troubleshoot and resolve integration and performance issues in ETL pipelines and reporting workflows.*

Required Skills:

2+ years of

hands-on experience with BIOVIA Pipeline Pilot (protocols, components, services).*
Proficient in

Python scripting within Pipeline Pilot environments.*
Strong command of

SQL and

PL/SQL for data extraction and transformation.*
Working knowledge of

BIOVIA Discoverant (hierarchy setup, process modelling).*
Hands-on experience in

BIOVIA PRIMR, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.*
Exposure to

regulated environments with GxP/GMP compliance.*

Desired Skills:

Familiarity with additional

BIOVIA applications (e.g., Workbook, Compose, Foundation Hub).*
Experience with

data visualization tools such as Spotfire, Tableau, or Power BI.*
Exposure to

Git/SVN for version control and continuous integration.*
Knowledge of scientific workflows and process data in biopharma manufacturing or research.*
