Job Summary

:

We are seeking a highly skilled

Pipe Stress Engineer

with 5-10 years of experience using

CAESAR II

software. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing pipe stress analysis, ensuring piping system integrity, and providing technical support across various EPC or Oil & Gas projects.

Key Responsibilities

:

Perform detailed pipe stress analysis using

CAESAR II

in compliance with international codes (ASME B31.1, B31.3, etc.). Evaluate piping flexibility, thermal expansion, support span calculations, and nozzle load compliance. Review and interpret

P&IDs, piping layouts, isometrics

, and equipment datasheets. Recommend and define

piping supports

(spring supports, guides, anchors, etc.). Coordinate with piping design, mechanical, structural, and civil teams to resolve interface issues. Prepare

stress analysis reports

, load summary reports, and provide technical guidance to junior engineers. Ensure stress results comply with

client specifications, project standards

, and regulatory codes. Support site teams during

fabrication, installation, and commissioning

phases.

Requirements

:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

5 to 10 years

of experience in

pipe stress analysis

, primarily using

CAESAR II

. Good knowledge of applicable codes and standards (ASME, API, ASTM, etc.). Experience working on

EPC or oil & gas projects

(offshore/onshore). Familiarity with supporting tools (e.g., AutoPIPE, Navisworks, SmartPlant Review) is a plus. Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

:

Experience with

brownfield or revamp projects

. Site experience and understanding of construction-related issues. Exposure to

FEA tools

(e.g., ANSYS) for complex analysis is an advantage.
