with hands-on experience in stress analysis of piping systems for Oil & Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical, Power, and Process industries. The candidate will be responsible for performing flexibility and stress analysis to ensure piping systems are safe, code-compliant, and reliable under operating, thermal, and environmental loads.
Key Responsibilities
Perform
pipe stress analysis
for static and dynamic piping systems.
Develop
stress models
for piping networks including lines, loops, supports, and restraints.
Evaluate
sustained, thermal, operating, expansion, and occasional load cases
.
Perform
wind, seismic, slug flow, PSV, and water hammer analysis
.
Design and optimize
pipe supports, spring hangers, snubbers, and restraints
.
Check
nozzle loads
on equipment such as pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, and vessels.
Prepare and review
stress calculation reports, stress isometrics, and support load data
.
Coordinate with
piping, civil, structural, and equipment teams
for design optimization.
Review vendor piping layouts and resolve stress-related issues.
Support
construction, site modifications, and troubleshooting
