Technology Lead - Product Information Management (PIM)
The Role:
Logitech is the Sweet Spot for people who want their actions to have a positive global impact while having the flexibility to do it in their own way.
The Team and Role:
The Digital Office is a service-centric organization where our Business Capability Teams are directly accountable for the end-to-end business capabilities they enable. We are looking for professionals who embody our core values: focusing on business results, owning and improving our services, creating easy teamwork, and being a proactive partner.
The Technology Lead (TL) is the primary technology-facing leader for the Product Information Management (PIM) capability team. You are accountable for the technical "how" of our product data ecosystem.
As a global consumer electronics company, accurate and rich product data is the lifeblood of our sales channels. You will be accountable for the end-to-end technical success of the PIM capability--powered by inRiver--ensuring seamless data flow to our Direct-to-Consumer business (logitech.com), our global e-tailers/retailers, and all customer-facing systems.
Critically, this role includes the direct line management of the technology-facing members of the team (Software Engineers, QA Specialists, and Integration Analysts), making you both a technical owner and a people leader.
Your Contribution:
Be Yourself. Be Open. Stay Hungry and Humble. Collaborate. Challenge. Decide and just Do. Share our passion for Equality and the Environment. These are the behaviors and values you'll need for success at Logitech. In this role you will:
PIM Architecture & Data Modeling: Define, own, and govern the inRiver solution architecture. You will oversee the data model design to support complex consumer electronics attributes, ensuring the system is scalable to handle global SKUs, localizations, and high-volume syndication.
Integration Strategy: Architect robust integrations between inRiver and the wider ecosystem, including Digital Asset Management (DAM), ERPs, and downstream commerce platforms (HCL Commerce, Amazon, ChannelAdvisor, etc.).
Service Delivery: Manage the end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC) for PIM enhancements, including sprint planning and managing the technical backlog (e.g., inRiver extension development, API connectors, and tech debt).
Operational Stability: Be accountable for the system performance and reliability (SLOs) of the PIM stack. Ensure data consistency and syndication health across all channels, prioritizing critical bug fixes that impact product time-to-market.
Team Management & Development: Directly manage, develop, and lead the technology-facing team members, fostering their technical career growth and performance.
Vendor Management: Manage the relationship with inRiver and associated integration partners, ensuring we are leveraging the platform's roadmap effectively.
Partnership: Collaborate relentlessly with your Business Capability Owner (BCO) partner, acting as the technical advisor on feasibility and translating their strategic roadmap into a high-quality technical solution.
Key Qualifications:
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team:
Technical Leadership & PIM Expertise: Proven experience in a technical leadership role (Engineering Manager, Tech Lead with line management, or Solution Architect with people management) specifically within the PIM or E-commerce domain.
inRiver Proficiency: Deep understanding of the inRiver Product Marketing Cloud (IPMC), including Control Center, Syndicate, and Remoting API. Experience designing data models for complex product catalogs.
Direct People Management: Demonstrable experience in the direct line management, performance reviews, and career development of technical staff (e.g., Engineers, QA). This is a non-negotiable skill for this role.
Integration & Development: Hands-on experience with .NET/C# ecosystem (standard for inRiver customization) and API integration patterns (REST/JSON) to connect PIM with external marketplaces and internal systems.
SDLC Mastery: Deep experience with the full SDLC in an Agile environment and a strong understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, and operational stability.
Data-Driven Mindset: You understand the criticality of data quality and governance in a consumer-facing retail environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
inRiver Certification (Developer or Architect).
Experience in the Consumer Electronics, Retail, or FMCG industries.
Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or similar Agile certification.
Experience with syndication platforms (e.g., Tradebyte, ChannelAdvisor) and DAM integrations.
Knowledge of Azure cloud infrastructure (as the hosting environment for inRiver).
