To ensure accurate picking, safe handling, and efficient packing of modular kitchen and wardrobe components (panels, shutters, accessories, hardware, etc.) as per customer/site orders, maintaining quality and minimizing damages during storage and transit.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Picking:
Pick kitchen and wardrobe parts (carcass panels, shutters, hardware, fittings, accessories) as per order sheet/dispatch list.
Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
Packing:
Pack items securely using protective materials (bubble wrap, foam, edge protectors, corrugated sheets, etc.) to prevent damage.
Label each package with order number, site details, and handling instructions.
Quality & Safety:
Check for any scratches, damages, or defects before packing.
Follow safe handling practices for heavy boards, glass, and delicate items.
Inventory Management:
Maintain proper stock handling while picking.
Update picked & packed items in system/records.
Dispatch Support:
Coordinate with logistics team for loading and ensure correct dispatch as per schedule.
Assist in preparing dispatch documents.
Housekeeping & Compliance:
Maintain cleanliness in packing area.
Follow company safety standards and SOPs for handling furniture components.
Skills & Competencies Required:
Basic knowledge of modular kitchen & wardrobe components.
Ability to read and follow order sheets / packing lists.
Physically fit to handle heavy lifting and movement of panels.
Attention to detail for quality and accuracy.
Teamwork and time management skills.
Qualification & Experience:
Minimum 10th/12th pass.
1-3 years' experience in warehouse/packing/panel handling (modular furniture industry preferred).
Training in packing and handling of modular furniture will be an added advantage.
