Pick Up Driver

A Pick Up Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods or passengers from designated pick-up points to specified destinations. This role involves planning routes, maintaining the vehicle, assisting with loading/unloading, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Pick up clients, goods, or materials from assigned locations at scheduled times. Drive safely and adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies. Plan and adjust routes using GPS and traffic updates to ensure timely arrivals. Assist with loading and unloading luggage, packages, or cargo as needed. Maintain cleanliness and operational condition of the vehicle, including scheduling regular maintenance and refueling. Keep accurate records of mileage, deliveries, and any incidents. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members. Provide courteous and professional service to clients, answering questions and assisting as needed. Handle payments and issue receipts if required. Adapt to occasional night or weekend shifts as per operational needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Proven driving experience with knowledge of local roads and neighborhoods. Ability to operate navigation devices and plan efficient routes. Physical ability to lift and carry luggage or packages. Strong time management and customer service skills. Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful traffic or driving conditions. High school diploma or equivalent.
