A Physiotherapist is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating physical conditions that affect movement and mobility. They provide rehabilitation, pain management, and physical therapy treatments to patients to help them recover from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and needs.
Develop individualized treatment plans to promote mobility, pain relief, and overall recovery.
Implement physical therapy treatments, including exercises, massage, and joint manipulation.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Educate patients on exercises and techniques to improve their health and avoid re-injury.
Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare professionals.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of physiotherapy practices, techniques, and advancements.
Skills and Qualifications:
Degree in Physiotherapy or related field from an accredited institution.
Valid physiotherapy license (depending on state or country requirements).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and equipment.
Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.
