Physiotherapist - Roles and Responsibilities1. Patient Assessment
- Conduct initial evaluation of patients using medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic reports.
- Identify movement dysfunction, pain areas, and functional limitations.
- Develop individualized treatment goals based on assessment findings.
2. Treatment Planning & Implementation
- Create customized physiotherapy plans for rehabilitation, mobility improvement, and pain management.
- Provide therapy through exercises, manual therapy, electrotherapy, traction, and other modalities.
- Demonstrate therapeutic exercises and ensure patient understanding.
3. Patient Care & Rehabilitation
- Assist patients with post-operative rehabilitation (orthopedic, neurological, cardiac, etc.).
- Support chronic condition management like arthritis, stroke rehab, spinal issues, and sports injuries.
- Monitor progress regularly and modify treatment as needed.
4. Equipment Handling
- Operate physiotherapy equipment such as ultrasound, IFT, TENS, laser, traction unit, CPM machine, etc.
- Maintain and ensure proper functioning and safety of all therapy devices.
- Keep treatment area clean and well-organized.
5. Patient Education
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises, posture correction, ergonomics, and lifestyle modifications.
- Provide guidance on injury prevention and long-term mobility care.
6. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate patient records including assessment notes, treatment plans, daily progress, and discharge summary.
- Prepare reports for doctors, rehabilitation teams, and management when required.
- Follow hospital documentation standards and NABH guidelines.
7. Coordination & Teamwork
- Work closely with doctors, nurses, rehab team, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and patient case discussions.
- Communicate treatment progress and changes effectively.
8. Safety & Compliance
- Follow infection control protocols and ensure patient safety at all times.
- Comply with hospital policies, NABH standards, and ethical healthcare practices.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and professional conduct.
9. Additional Duties
- Conduct group therapy or community awareness programs when required.
- Train junior physiotherapists, interns, or students.
- Attend workshops and continue professional development.

Pay: ?14,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
