Evaluate patients' physical condition and functional abilities
Take detailed medical histories
Diagnose movement dysfunction or physical limitations
Develop individualized treatment plans
Set realistic short- and long-term goals
Monitor patient progress and adjust plans accordingly
Use manual therapy, exercises, and equipment to improve mobility and strength
Provide post-surgical rehabilitation (e.g., for joint replacements, sports injuries)
Help manage chronic conditions (e.g., arthritis, Parkinson's, COPD)
Use techniques such as massage, electrotherapy, or dry needling
Educate patients on posture and body mechanics to reduce discomfort
Teach exercises for home programs
Offer guidance to prevent re-injury
Educate on ergonomics, healthy movement habits, and lifestyle
Work closely with doctors, surgeons, occupational therapists, and other health professionals
Refer patients to specialists when necessary
Maintain accurate treatment records
Track outcomes and provide reports as needed
Document insurance and legal-related paperwork
