Job Role: Pediatric Physiotherapist and Center Manager for Autism Care



Role Overview:


As a Pediatric Physiotherapist and Center Manager specializing in autism care, you will play a crucial role in providing therapeutic support to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Additionally, you will take on the responsibility of managing and overseeing the daily operations of the autism care center.

Responsibilities:



Clinical Assessment and Treatment:

Conduct comprehensive assessments of children with autism to identify physical and developmental challenges. Develop individualized physiotherapy treatment plans to address motor skills, coordination, and sensory integration difficulties. Implement evidence-based physiotherapy interventions to improve functional abilities and promote independence in daily activities.

Collaborative Care:

Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and behavior analysts, to ensure holistic care for each child. Collaborate with parents and caregivers to provide education and guidance on home exercises and strategies to support the child's progress.

Program Development:

Contribute to the development and enhancement of specialized physiotherapy programs tailored to the unique needs of children with autism. Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in pediatric physiotherapy and integrate findings into the center's programs.

Supervision and Training:

Provide supervision and mentorship to junior physiotherapists and support staff within the center. Conduct training sessions for staff to enhance their understanding of autism and improve therapeutic approaches.

Administrative Management:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the autism care center, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. Manage scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination of services to optimize the use of available resources.

Quality Assurance:

Implement and maintain quality assurance measures to ensure the delivery of high-quality care in compliance with industry standards. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of physiotherapy interventions and make adjustments as needed.

Community Engagement:

Foster positive relationships with parents, schools, and community organizations to raise awareness about the center's services. Participate in community outreach initiatives to promote early intervention and support for children with autism.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports. Generate reports for internal use and external stakeholders, as required.

Qualifications:



Degree in Physiotherapy with specialization in Pediatric Physiotherapy. Relevant certifications in autism care or related fields. State licensure or certification as a physiotherapist. Previous experience working with children with autism.
This combined role requires a compassionate and skilled professional who can seamlessly transition between clinical care and administrative duties, contributing to the overall success of the autism care center.

Pay: ?15,086.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
