The Physiotherapist will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitation programs to restore, maintain, and improve patients' physical strength, mobility, and overall well-being. The role requires providing patient-centered care, working closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess patients' physical conditions through clinical examinations and diagnostic tests.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on medical history, diagnosis, and therapy goals.
Provide physiotherapy sessions using appropriate therapeutic techniques (manual therapy, exercises, electrotherapy, etc.).
Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation exercises, posture correction, injury prevention, and home care practices.
Monitor and document patient progress, modifying treatment plans when necessary.
Collaborate with doctors, surgeons, nurses, and occupational therapists for integrated care.
Ensure the safe use of physiotherapy equipment and maintain hygiene protocols.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case discussions, and health awareness programs.
Stay updated with latest physiotherapy practices, technologies, and research.
Adhere to hospital policies, ethical standards, and patient confidentiality.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Physiotherapy (BPT/MPT) from a recognized institute.
Licensure/Registration:
Valid registration with State Council.
Experience:
1-3 years (for junior role) / 3-7 years (for senior role) of clinical experience in physiotherapy.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation methods.
Excellent patient handling and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Empathy, patience, and professional ethics.
Good documentation and reporting skills.
