Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated

Physiotherapist

to join the Occupational Therapy Department at our Child Development Centre. This role is ideal for both

fresh graduates and experienced physiotherapists

who are passionate about working with children. The Physiotherapist will assess, plan, and deliver interventions to support gross motor development, physical rehabilitation, and overall functional independence in children with developmental and neurodivergent needs.

Key Responsibilities



Conduct assessments of

gross motor skills, posture, gait, balance, and muscle tone

. Develop and implement

individualized physiotherapy plans

to address each child's needs. Provide therapy sessions focusing on: Gross motor milestones Balance and coordination Strengthening and mobility Neuro-motor rehabilitation Postural training and functional independence Use

play-based, engaging approaches

to make therapy enjoyable for children. Collaborate with

occupational therapists, speech therapists, and psychologists

for holistic intervention. Guide parents/caregivers with

simple home-based exercise programs

. Maintain

accurate documentation and progress notes

in the centre's system. Participate in

team meetings, case discussions, and training workshops

. Uphold ethical practice and ensure a

safe, child-friendly environment

Qualifications & Skills



Bachelor's/Master's degree in Physiotherapy (BPT/MPT)

from a recognized university. Freshers with

internship or training experience in pediatrics

are encouraged to apply. Knowledge of child development milestones and common pediatric conditions (e.g., Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Delay, Autism Spectrum Disorder). Strong observation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Willingness to

learn, adapt, and work in a multidisciplinary team
