Ensure proper documentation, report preparation, and referral planning.
Monitor the quality of assessments across operational blocks.
Key Indicators:
Children screened as per plan; functional assessment reports maintained for all children.
Therapeutic Interventions
Develop individualized rehabilitation plans covering Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Psychology.
Deliver direct therapy sessions and provide home-based therapy guidance.
Train parents and caregivers to ensure continuity of therapeutic support.
Prepare modules, flyers, and training notes for awareness and skill enhancement among stakeholders.
Key Indicators:
Children receive regular therapeutic support; measurable functional improvement observed among beneficiaries.
Medical Support
Plan and organize medical camps in the assigned blocks.
Coordinate with specialist doctors (Orthopedic, Pediatric, Neurology, Ophthalmology, etc.) for diagnosis and treatment.
Ensure that follow-up recommendations are documented and tracked for all cases.
Key Indicators:
Medical camps organized; children receive medical guidance and treatment recommendations.
Aids & Appliances (AAT Camps)
Coordinate the measurement, procurement, and distribution of assistive devices to children.
Liaise with DDRC, ALIMCO, and the Education Department for provision and technical support.
Conduct usage follow-up with children and parents to ensure effective utilization.
Key Indicators:
AAT camps conducted as planned; children supported with mobility aids and assistive devices.
Monitoring, Documentation & Team Collaboration
Maintain comprehensive records of all activities including SFA progress, therapy sessions, training, and sensitization events.
Ensure timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Document and share case studies, best practices, and review findings.
Foster effective teamwork and collaboration among project staff and partner teams.
Key Indicators:
Reports submitted on time; case studies documented and shared; review meetings conducted with follow-up actions; effective team coordination demonstrated
Requirements
Strong understanding of child development and disability rehabilitation (PT/OT/ST/Psychology).
Proficiency in conducting functional assessments and developing individualized therapy plans.
Ability to engage and train parents, caregivers, and community stakeholders.
Experience in organizing medical camps, therapy sessions, and follow-up interventions.
Good communication and documentation skills (reporting, record maintenance, and case documentation).
Team player with collaborative working skills across multi-disciplinary setups.
Basic computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to work in field/community settings with children and families.
