As a Physiotherapist - SPF in the Early Intervention Program, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening and scaling quality rehabilitation services through partner organizations. You will mentor field therapists, build capacities, monitor service quality, and work alongside partner NGOs to ensure comprehensive, sustainable, and high-impact interventions for Children with Special Needs (CwSN).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Comprehensive Rehabilitation through Partner Organizations
Supervise, monitor, and evaluate the early intervention (EI) therapy services delivered by partner organizations.
Guide partners to develop goal-based rehabilitation plans and implement holistic therapy interventions.
Support functional and developmental outcomes for CwSN annually through partner networks.
2. Capacity Building of Partner Staff
Conduct technical training and workshops for physiotherapists, community rehabilitation workers, and other partner staff.
Build and strengthen the technical competencies of partner organizations, ensuring quality service delivery at the community level.
Facilitate knowledge-sharing platforms among partners to promote cross-learning and adoption of best practices.
3. Monitoring, Evaluation, and Quality Assurance
Perform scheduled monitoring visits to partner organizations to assess therapy quality, outcomes, and adherence to protocols.
Provide feedback, mentorship, and action plans to partner teams to improve service efficiency and impact.
Develop monitoring tools, scorecards, and simple evaluation formats for partner use.
4. Strategic Partnership Management
Act as the key liaison between the Early Intervention program team and partner organizations on all therapy-related matters.
Collaborate with program managers, technical teams, and partner leadership for strategic planning, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
Strengthen communication channels between the program and partners for timely updates, issue resolution, and coordination.
5. Program Development and Innovation with Partners
Identify gaps and opportunities within partner rehabilitation programs and co-create innovative solutions.
Promote the adoption of cost-effective, context-sensitive, community-friendly therapy models among partners.
Document success stories, models, and challenges from partner organizations to feed into strategic planning and reporting.
Accountability:
Report directly to the Manager regarding the progress, challenges, and developments within Partner project.
Ensure alignment with organizational goals, budget management, and operational protocols for the program.
Ensure transparency, ethical conduct, and full compliance with the organization's standards and policies.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physiotherapy (BPT/MPT).
3-4 years of experience in pediatric physiotherapy, preferably in community-based and partner-led models.
Strong understanding of early childhood development, rehabilitation practices, and neurodevelopmental therapy.
Experience in mentoring and working closely with NGOs, CSOs, or public sector programs is highly desirable.

Working Conditions:
Office: Based at Program Office with regular travel to partner sites
Work hours - 9 am to 6 pm
Travel expectations - It involves travel within the community regularly.
