Key Responsibilities:

Impart knowledge and participate in providing education in preparation for childbirth and parenthood. Assess and treat any skeletal and muscular ailments or discomforts experienced during pregnancy. Provide postnatal exercises and deliver specialized treatment when necessary. Impart knowledge on effective relaxation techniques, breathing awareness, positioning, and other information that may help a woman during labour. Provide specialized physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, monitoring, and management. Provide prenatal and postnatal physiotherapy services. Conduct inpatient rounds.

+ Observe and support patients while assisting them with walking inside the room.
+ Teach correct postures and body mechanics, and impart knowledge on post-delivery care and precautions.
Conduct OPD consultations as per scheduled appointments. Visit the LDR and teach Lamaze techniques to women in the first and second stages of labour. Address women's health issues related to childbirth, antenatal and postpartum disorders, including lymphedema, osteoporosis, pelvic pain, labour pain, etc. Maintain records and documentation in compliance with NABH standards.
