We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Physics Teacher to teach and inspire students to achieve academic excellence in Physics. The successful candidate will have a strong academic background in Physics, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to create engaging and interactive lessons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Physics to students in grades
- Develop and implement engaging and interactive lesson plans to promote student learning and understanding
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve student outcomes
- Create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and instructional strategies
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the Science Department
- Stay up-to-date with developments in Physics and incorporate new ideas and technologies into teaching practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics or related field
- Teaching certification or license (if applicable)
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in Physics (preferably at the high school level)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create engaging and interactive lessons
- Strong knowledge of Physics curriculum and instructional strategies
- Familiarity with educational technologies and digital resources
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with project-based learning and inquiry-based instruction
- Familiarity with educational software and digital tools
- Experience with differentiated instruction and assessment
- Leadership experience or willingness to take on leadership roles
