Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Physics Lab Assistant to support the smooth operation of the physics laboratory. The role involves preparing lab equipment and materials, assisting teachers during experiments, and maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient lab environment for students.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and set up laboratory apparatus, materials, and equipment for physics practical sessions Assist teachers and students during experiments to ensure accuracy and safety Maintain inventory and stock of lab equipment and consumables Ensure all apparatus is cleaned, stored properly, and in working condition Monitor and enforce laboratory safety protocols and guidelines Assist in the maintenance and calibration of scientific instruments Support in documenting practical work, reports, and lab records Dispose of materials safely and follow waste management procedures Coordinate with the science department for lab planning and improvements

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Physics, Science, or a related field Prior experience in a school laboratory setting (preferred) * Basic knowledge of physics lab equipment and safety procedures
