Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and qualified Physics & Biology Teacher to join our faculty for grades 8 to 10. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in both subjects, excellent teaching skills, and a passion for fostering scientific curiosity and understanding among students. Experience with the State Board curriculum is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Physics and Biology, aligning with the State Board curriculum. Explain complex scientific concepts in an accessible and relatable manner for students of varying abilities. Use real-life examples, experiments, and demonstrations to make learning interactive and practical. Prepare students thoroughly for board examinations by covering the syllabus in depth and providing revision sessions. Assess students' progress through assignments, tests, and projects, and provide constructive feedback. Maintain an inclusive and disciplined classroom environment that promotes participation, critical thinking, and respect for science. Identify and support students who need extra assistance through remedial sessions or additional learning resources. Incorporate digital tools and modern teaching aids to enhance lesson delivery and student engagement. Collaborate with other faculty members for interdisciplinary projects and activities. Participate in departmental meetings, professional development programs, school events, and parent-teacher meetings.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Science (B.Sc.) with specialization in Physics and/or Biology (Master's degree preferred). B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification is mandatory. Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in classes 8-10, preferably under a State Board curriculum. Strong knowledge of the State Board syllabus, examination patterns, and grading systems. Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills. Ability to motivate students, foster a love for science, and encourage scientific inquiry.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with digital teaching tools and virtual labs. Ability to design engaging experiments and science projects. Experience in guiding students for science exhibitions or Olympiads is an advantage.
