Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Physician Assistant at Gleneagles Health City, Chennai. The Physician Assistant will work alongside physicians and surgeons to provide superior patient care. Primary responsibilities include assisting with patient examinations, obtaining medical histories, performing diagnostic tests, and supporting procedures. The role involves educating patients and families, recording accurate medical information, and ensuring compliance with clinical protocols. Coordination with the healthcare team and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of medical developments are also key aspects of the job.

Qualifications

Proficiency in conducting patient examinations, documenting medical histories, and providing patient education Ability to perform diagnostic tests and assist in clinical procedures Familiarity with healthcare protocols, compliance standards, and the use of medical equipment and technologies Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering excellent patient care Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with healthcare teams and engaging with patients Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or relevant healthcare discipline Certification as a Physician Assistant and current registration with the appropriate medical authority Experience in a hospital or clinical setting, particularly in multi-specialty or critical care environments, is highly desirable
