We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will work in collaboration with consultants and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals undergoing treatment. The PA will play a crucial role in diagnosing and managing patients, performing clinical procedures, and offering support throughout their treatment journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform initial patient evaluations and take comprehensive medical histories of patients.
Conduct physical exams and interpret diagnostic results such as lab work, imaging, and biopsy results.
Administer medications and other treatments under the supervision of a physician.
Monitor patient progress, manage side effects, and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Provide supportive care and patient education regarding treatment options, side effect management, and lifestyle adjustments.
Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and screenings to assess patient condition.
Offer psycho-social support and guide patients through the emotional challenges of treatment.
Provide follow-up care and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including radiation therapists, surgeons, and nutritionists.
Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
