Meditrina Hospital, Kollam is looking for dedicated and skilled

Physician Assistant

to join our medical team. The ideal candidate should have at least

1 year of relevant experience

in a clinical/ hospital setting and should be passionate about providing high-quality patient care, assisting physicians in diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients across OPD, IPD, and other clinical areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist consultants and physicians in patient evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment. Conduct initial patient assessments, take detailed medical histories, and perform physical examinations. Provide support in patient admissions, daily rounds, monitoring, and discharge processes. Assist in emergency situations and perform basic clinical procedures as required. Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care. Maintain accurate and updated patient records in compliance with hospital protocols. Coordinate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth patient care delivery.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Physician Assistant Studies or equivalent qualification. Minimum

1 year of experience

working as a Physician Assistant in a hospital or clinical setting. Strong clinical knowledge with the ability to assist in both OPD and IPD care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams. Ability to handle patients with empathy, care, and professionalism. Willingness to work in rotational shifts if required.
