Physical Education Teacher

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Physical Education Teacher to inspire and guide our students in their physical development and well-being!

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Education or a related field. B.P.Ed or M.P.Ed degree (preferred). Minimum 1 year of experience teaching physical education. Certification in First Aid and CPR.

Additional Requirements:

Strong understanding of physical education curriculum and teaching methodologies for older adolescents. Expertise in various sports and physical activities, including team sports, individual sports, fitness training, and health education. Ability to plan and execute engaging and challenging physical education lessons that cater to diverse student abilities and interests. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills to encourage student participation and enthusiasm. Knowledge of sports safety protocols, injury prevention techniques, and student health considerations. Willingness to coach school sports teams and organize extracurricular physical activities.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging physical education lessons, aligned with the school's curriculum and educational goals. Teach various sports and physical activities, emphasizing skill development, fitness improvement, and teamwork. Conduct physical fitness assessments and provide personalized guidance to students to enhance their overall well-being. Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that fosters positive attitudes towards physical activity and healthy lifestyles. Promote sportsmanship, fair play, and respect among students during physical education classes and sporting events. Organize and coach school sports teams, providing training, motivation, and leadership. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement comprehensive physical education programs and initiatives. Participate in professional development activities to stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in physical education. Maintain accurate records of student progress and participation in physical education activities.
