Job Description

The Physical Education Teacher will plan, organize, and deliver a range of sports, fitness, and physical activities designed to promote students' physical development, health, teamwork, and overall well-being. The teacher will create a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment that encourages participation, skill development, and sportsmanship among students.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and conduct daily PE lessons in accordance with the school curriculum and educational standards. Design age-appropriate physical activities and sports programs that enhance students' fitness, coordination, and confidence. Teach rules, techniques, and strategies for a variety of team and individual sports. Promote lifelong fitness habits and health awareness through physical activity and education. Organize inter-house, inter-school, and annual sports events and tournaments. Assess and evaluate students' performance, participation, and improvement. Ensure safety and proper use of sports equipment and facilities. Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance, and inventory. Foster teamwork, leadership, and fair play among students. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate physical education with overall student development programs. Participate in school assemblies, events, and extracurricular activities as required.
