Physical Education Teacher (Female- PET)

Job Summary:

We are seeking qualified and experienced Physical Education Teachers (PET) for our Dr.Umayal Ramanathan College for Women's and Alagappa Girls and Montessori Schools. The ideal candidate should possess a B.P.Ed or M.P.Ed degree and have a passion for teaching and mentoring young girls. The role involves planning and delivering physical education programs, promoting Sports, health and wellness, and developing sports skills among students.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver physical education lessons to students Develop and implement sports training programs Conduct fitness assessments and monitor student progress Promote health and wellness among students Organize and supervise sports events and competitions Collaborate with other teachers to achieve school goals Maintain discipline and ensure student safety during physical activities

Requirements:

B.P.Ed or M.P.Ed degree from a recognized institution Relevant teaching experience (freshers can also apply) Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work with students of different ages and abilities Knowledge of various sports and games First aid certification (desirable)
