We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Sports Teacher and PET to join our team. As a Sports Teacher and PET, you will be responsible for promoting physical fitness, teaching various sports, and encouraging students to develop a love for sports and physical activities. You will work with students across different age groups and help them build skills, teamwork, and discipline. Maintaining English speaking environment inside the class room and within the campus is the first and foremost responsibility of a PET
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and conduct physical education lessons for students of various age groups, promoting physical fitness and well-being.
Teach a variety of sports and physical activities, including but not limited to athletics, basketball, volleyball, football, badminton, and yoga.
Encourage students to participate in sports and physical activities, fostering teamwork, leadership, and discipline.
Organize and coach school teams for inter-school competitions, sports events, and tournaments.
Monitor and assess students' physical progress, providing feedback to help them improve their skills and fitness levels.
Promote a healthy lifestyle and educate students about the importance of physical fitness, nutrition, and overall wellness.
Maintain a safe and supportive environment during physical activities, ensuring the safety of all students.
Collaborate with other teachers and school staff in organizing annual sports events, field trips, and other extracurricular activities.
Provide regular updates to parents regarding students' performance and progress in physical education.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (B.P.Ed.)
Previous experience in teaching sports, preferably in a school setting.
Strong knowledge of various sports, fitness activities, and sports coaching techniques.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students to lead active and healthy lifestyles.
A passion for sports and the development of physical education programs.
