Care Group of Institutions is seeking a skilled and dedicated

Physical Education Director (Female)

for a full-time position in Tiruchirappalli. This mid-level role requires a minimum of 2-3 years of experience managing physical education programs, preferably within an educational or institutional setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of physical education activities, promoting student health and wellness, and managing sports facilities and staff.

Qualifications and Skills:

Program Management (Mandatory):

Proven expertise in designing, organizing, and managing physical education and sports programs.

Curriculum Development:

Ability to develop comprehensive physical education curricula aligned with educational standards and student needs.

Health & Wellness:

Strong understanding of fitness, health promotion, and wellness practices to encourage student participation and wellbeing.

Team Leadership:

Experience in supervising coaches, trainers, and support staff, including training and performance management.

Event Coordination:

Ability to plan and manage sports events, competitions, and extracurricular physical activities.

Budget Management:

Experience managing budgets for equipment, facilities, and program expenses efficiently.

Safety Compliance:

Knowledge of safety standards and protocols related to physical activities and sports facilities.

Record Keeping:

Skilled in maintaining accurate records of student participation, program outcomes, and equipment inventory.

Communication Skills:

Effective communication with students, parents, faculty, and external organizations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Oversee the design and delivery of physical education programs that promote fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship among students. Develop and implement physical education curricula that meet institutional and regulatory standards. Manage and maintain sports facilities and equipment to ensure a safe and conducive environment for physical activities. Supervise, train, and evaluate physical education teachers, coaches, and support staff. Organize and coordinate sports events, tournaments, and extracurricular activities to encourage student engagement. Monitor and promote student health and wellness through fitness programs and awareness campaigns. Prepare and manage the physical education department budget, ensuring optimal use of resources. Ensure compliance with all safety guidelines and protocols related to physical education and sports. Maintain detailed records of student participation, program effectiveness, and equipment inventory. Communicate effectively with students, parents, faculty, and external sports organizations. Collaborate with school administration to integrate physical education programs with overall student development plans.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
