Position Title: Physical Education (Male/Female)

Institution: Meenakshi Sundararajan Engineering College

Location: Chennai

Qualification: As per Anna University / AICTE Norms

Key Responsibilities

Record of strong involvement and proven track record of participation in sports, drama, music, painting, photography, journalism event management or other student/event management activities during college/University studies. Plan, organize, and conduct sports, fitness, and physical education classes for students. Encourage participation in both indoor and outdoor sports activities. Identify and nurture talent to represent the college in inter-college, university, and state-level competitions. Maintain sports equipment, playgrounds, and fitness facilities in good condition. Develop and implement structured training schedules for teams and individuals. Organize tournaments, sports day, and other athletic events in coordination with college authorities. Ensure students maintain discipline, sportsmanship, and safety during physical activities. Guide students on fitness, wellness, and healthy lifestyle practices. Maintain proper records of student participation and achievements in sports.

Eligibility (As per Anna University Norms)

M.P.Ed. / B.P.Ed. (Master's / Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education) from a recognized University. Preference will be given to candidates with: Experience in handling Physical Education in higher education institutions. Representation at University/State/National level in sports/games. Knowledge of organizing tournaments and training sessions.

Skills Required

Strong knowledge of physical education curriculum and sports sciences. Ability to coach and mentor students in multiple sports. Excellent communication and motivational skills. Strong organizational and event-management abilities.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
