Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Physical Director to join our Cheran Group of Institutions, with a location in Coimbatore, Kangayam. This is a full-time position requiring 7 to 10 years of experience. The role involves overseeing athletic programs and ensuring the development of students through innovative fitness and sports strategies. The ideal candidate will utilize their expertise in fitness programming and athletic training to maintain and elevate the physical education standards within our institutions.
Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated ability in sports leadership, guiding teams and individual athletes towards their goals.
• Strong team management skills, capable of fostering a cohesive and motivated environment.
• Proficient in sports psychology to enhance athletic performance and student well-being.
• Experience in event planning to organize and execute successful athletic and fitness events.
• Expertise in injury prevention techniques to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.
• Competency in facility management to oversee and maintain sports and recreation facilities effectively.
• Fitness program development, focusing on creating comprehensive training plans for diverse athletes (Mandatory skill).
• Athletic training expertise, providing support and instruction for enhanced athletic performance (Mandatory skill).

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for athletic programs aligning with institutional goals.
• Oversee daily operations of sports facilities, ensuring safety standards and maintenance are upheld.
• Lead and mentor a team of coaches and support staff, promoting a positive and professional work environment.
• Design and deliver comprehensive fitness programs catering to student and staff needs.
• Collaborate with academic departments to integrate physical education into the broader educational curriculum.
• Organize and manage local, regional, and national athletic events, enhancing institutional reputation.
• Implement injury prevention protocols and provide immediate care and guidance in case of sports injuries.
• Ensure compliance with national and international regulations related to sports and physical education.
