Job Description

Assess and manage patients with neurological conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, Parkinson's disease, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, and other neurodegenerative or neurodevelopmental disorders Develop individualized, goal-oriented rehabilitation plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team including neurologists, psychiatrists, psychologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and complementary therapy providers Prescribe and oversee physical therapies, medication management, and assistive devices or orthotics as appropriate Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans to ensure optimal functional recovery and quality of life Provide patient and family education about condition management, prognosis, and home care strategies Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and care planning discussions Maintain accurate medical records, clinical documentation, and comply with regulatory and ethical standards Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and training programs as needed

Qualifications and Requirements:

MBBS with MD or DNB in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PMR) from a recognized institution Valid medical license/registration with the relevant Medical Council Minimum 0-3 years of experience in a neurorehabilitation, hospital, or rehabilitation centre setting preferred Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills Empathetic and patient-centered approach to care Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
