Job Description

We are looking for a skilled

WordPress/PHP Developer

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites and PHP-based web applications. You will work closely with our design, content, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality, performance-optimized, and secure web solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain

custom WordPress themes and plugins

. Write

clean, efficient, and well-documented PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

code. Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and other external systems. Troubleshoot, test, and maintain core product software to ensure strong optimization and functionality. Implement website performance optimization, SEO best practices, and security measures. Collaborate with designers to convert

Figma/Adobe XD

layouts into functional WordPress sites. Maintain version control using

Git

or other systems. Provide technical support, debugging, and ongoing site maintenance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

2+ years

of professional experience with

WordPress development

. Proficiency in

PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery

. Strong understanding of

WordPress architecture

,

hooks

,

actions

, and

filters

. Experience building and customizing

WordPress plugins and themes

from scratch. Familiarity with

RESTful APIs

and

AJAX

. Knowledge of

page builders

(e.g., Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg). Understanding of

web security

responsive design

. Experience with

Git

Composer

, or

npm/yarn

is a plus.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

Experience with

WooCommerce

or other WordPress eCommerce platforms. Familiarity with

Laravel
