Responsibilities:

Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable WordPress/PHP solutions. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in PHP and WordPress standards. Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and other services into WordPress sites. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in WordPress applications and plugins. Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO best practices. Stay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in WordPress and PHP development.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a WordPress Developer / PHP Developer with a strong portfolio of completed WordPress projects. Proficiency in PHP, WordPress (themes, plugins, hooks, filters, actions), and MySQL. Strong understanding of WordPress CMS architecture and custom post types. Experience with front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery. Familiarity with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg, etc.) is a plus. Knowledge of REST API integration within WordPress. Understanding of OOP concepts, MVC design patterns, and PHP frameworks (Laravel/CodeIgniter/Symfony) is an added advantage. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills.
