PHP/Word Press Developer (work from office)

Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented PHP/WordPress Developer to join our in-house team. The ideal candidate should have experience in both back-end and front-end development, including the creation of custom WordPress themes, plugins, and responsive websites. A good eye for design, layout, and user experience is essential. Familiarity with Shopify development and other third-party PHP platforms like Joomla, Magento, or OpenCart will be an added advantage.

This role requires a strong understanding of industry best practices, content management systems, and the complete web development lifecycle -- from design and development to deployment and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain websites, eCommerce platforms, CRM systems, and custom web applications Design and implement website layouts and user interfaces using standard HTML/CSS practices Build and customize WordPress themes and plugins according to project needs Integrate data from various back-end services and databases Gather, analyze, and refine specifications and technical requirements Ensure site responsiveness, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization Maintain clear documentation of development processes and updates Continuously monitor and improve website security, functionality, and scalability Stay up to date with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices and apply them where relevant Collaborate closely with designers, content creators, and other developers to deliver high-quality digital solutions

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1-2 years of hands-on experience in Core PHP and WordPress development Experience working with Shopify (theme customization, Liquid code, and app integration) is preferred Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, , and responsive design principles Strong understanding of web application architecture, session management, and security best practices Basic to intermediate experience in SEO optimization techniques Good knowledge of relational databases (MySQL), Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and version control tools Familiarity with third-party platforms like Joomla, OpenCart, or Magento is a plus Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with a strong sense of ownership and accountability A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (B.E./B.Tech/BCA/MCA or equivalent)

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
