We are looking for a skilled

PHP WordPress Developer

with a minimum of

2 years of industry experience

to join our team. The ideal candidate should have expertise in

custom WordPress theme and plugin development

, along with strong PHP and MySQL skills. The role involves developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites, ensuring performance optimization, and integrating third-party APIs.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain

custom WordPress themes and plugins

. Customize and enhance

WooCommerce functionality

. Implement

custom post types, taxonomies, and ACF (Advanced Custom Fields)

. Optimize WordPress websites for

speed, security, and performance

. Work with

REST APIs and third-party integrations

. Troubleshoot and fix

WordPress-related bugs and issues

. Ensure

mobile responsiveness

and cross-browser compatibility. Implement

SEO best practices

in WordPress development. Manage and maintain

MySQL databases and optimize queries

. Collaborate with designers and other developers to build feature-rich websites. Work with

Git version control

for project management. Configure and manage

WordPress hosting environments (cPanel, WHM, VPS, Cloud hosting)

.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience

in PHP and WordPress development. Strong proficiency in

PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery

. Experience in

custom WordPress theme and plugin development

. Hands-on experience with

WooCommerce customization

. Knowledge of

WordPress hooks, filters, and action hooks

. Understanding of

WordPress security best practices

. Experience with

page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg

. Familiarity with

Git version control

. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills. Ability to optimize websites for

performance and SEO

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

Experience in

Headless WordPress with React/Next.js

. Knowledge of

WordPress Multisite setup

. Familiarity with

server configurations and DevOps tools

. Experience with

Google Analytics, GTM, and tracking implementations
