About the Role

As a Junior PHP and WordPress Developer, you will be an integral part of our dynamic development team. Your responsibilities will span both back-end and front-end development, with a primary focus on building and customizing WordPress websites, developing themes and plugins, and contributing to high-performance, scalable web applications.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance websites using WordPress and PHP Build custom themes and plugins tailored to project requirements Modify and improve existing WordPress features and functionality Write clean, efficient, and scalable PHP code Implement responsive design using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Bootstrap Manage and optimize MySQL databases Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services Collaborate with designers and project managers to deliver seamless UI/UX Ensure website performance, security, and SEO best practices Stay current with evolving technologies and web development trends Provide technical documentation and internal/client support

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred) Minimum 2 years of PHP development experience At least 1.5 years of experience in WordPress theme/plugin development Proficient in: PHP, MySQL HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery RESTful APIs, JSON, XML Version control tools (e.g., Git)

Preferred Skills & Experience

Experience with: Woo Commerce and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) Other CMS platforms SEO and web accessibility standards Cloud hosting services like AWS Familiarity with performance testing and scalability strategies

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and team collaboration skills Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
