Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Web Developer to build and maintain functional, attractive, and user-centric websites and web applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of web development technologies, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Development:
Build, test, and deploy responsive websites and web applications using PHP, WordPress, HTML, CSS, UI & UX and related technologies.
Collaboration:
Work closely with designers, product managers, and other developers to translate design concepts and requirements into functional web solutions.
Maintenance:
Perform routine site maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and security.
Optimization:
Optimize web applications for speed and scalability, and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
Code Quality:
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code; adhere to best practices and coding standards.
Problem-solving:
Debug and resolve issues related to web functionality and performance.
Documentation:
Maintain thorough documentation for code, processes, and updates.
Innovation:
Stay up-to-date with emerging web technologies and trends; continuously enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Experience:
Proven experience as a Web Developer with a strong portfolio of web projects.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in PHP, WordPress, HTML, CSS, UI & UX and front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
Experience with back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, JavaScript, Python) is a plus.
Familiarity with web development tools (e.g., Git, Webpack, npm).
Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Bonus Skills:
Experience with content management systems.
Familiarity with database management.
Knowledge of SEO best practices.
