Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

PHP Developer

to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining high-quality web applications, writing clean and efficient code, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and related technologies. Write clean, secure, and well-documented code following best practices. Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and product managers to build seamless user experiences. Integrate third-party APIs, databases, and payment gateways. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for performance and scalability. Maintain and improve existing systems by adding new features and fixing issues. Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and team meetings. Ensure the performance, security, and responsiveness of applications.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

2+ years of experience

in PHP development. Strong knowledge of

Core PHP

and at least one

PHP framework

(Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony, etc.). Experience with

MySQL

or other relational databases. Familiarity with

HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery

. Understanding of

API development

, RESTful services, and JSON. Experience with version control tools like

Git

. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills (Optional)

Experience with

Laravel

or

CodeIgniter

framework.. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.). Understanding of MVC architecture and OOP principles. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Soft Skills

Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Positive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies.
