Job Description

We are looking for an experienced

Shopify Developer with strong PHP expertise (Core PHP or MVC frameworks like Laravel/CodeIgniter)

to join our team. The candidate must have

at least 3 years of hands-on Shopify development experience

along with solid skills in

PHP and MVC architecture

.

Applications without Shopify experience of

3+ years

will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify stores, themes, and apps. Build backend functionalities using

PHP (Core PHP) or MVC frameworks (Laravel/CodeIgniter)

. Implement advanced customizations using

Shopify Liquid

and APIs. Integrate third-party APIs, tools, and payment gateways. Optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth functionality. Collaborate with design, QA, and marketing teams for project delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of Shopify development experience

(themes, apps, customizations). Strong knowledge of

Shopify Liquid templating

and APIs. Proficiency in

PHP (Core PHP) and MVC frameworks (Laravel/CodeIgniter, etc.)

. Solid understanding of

OOP concepts and MVC architecture

. Hands-on experience with MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery. Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to Have

Experience with other PHP frameworks (Symfony, CakePHP, etc.). Knowledge of modern JS frameworks (ReactJS, VueJS). Experience with Shopify Plus.
