Job Description

A CMMI Level 3 organization with office Salt Lake, Kolkata is looking for a talented PHP Laravel Developer with core domain experience of 3+ years and hands-on experience in the following:

Proven Over 3 years experience as a

PHP Developer

with expertise in

Laravel

/ CI framework. Strong proficiency in

MySQL, Postgres SQL

and database design/management. Solid understanding of

MVC architecture

and

RESTful APIs

. Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines. Experience with

University Management Systems

or similar large-scale applications is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain backend solutions using

PHP

and

Laravel

for a University Management Application. Design, implement, and manage databases using

MySQL

,

Postgres SQL

Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software to ensure strong functionality and optimization. Participate in the design and development of scalable architecture for future system enhancements. Engage in Agile project management practices, including sprint planning and stand-up meetings.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in an educational or administrative software project. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). Understanding of

cloud-based infrastructure

(AWS, Azure) and deployment tools. Experience with testing tools like PHPUnit and familiarity with CI/CD processes.

Work Model:

Full-Time, Hybrid Model

: The candidate must be available to work in-office for part of the week and remotely as required. Candidates must be flexible to adapt to project demands and management schedules.

There will be
