Job Description

We are looking for a skilled

PHP Developer

to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing web applications using PHP and related technologies. This role involves working closely with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain web applications using

PHP

(Core PHP / PHP frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony, etc.). Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code. Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic. Develop and integrate APIs (REST / SOAP) and third-party services. Optimize application performance, troubleshooting issues, and improving functionality. Work with MySQL databases including schema design, queries, triggers, and optimization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Ensure the application is secure and compliant with industry standards. Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices. Maintain technical documentation as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred). Strong proficiency in

PHP

and

Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)

concepts. Experience with at least one PHP framework (Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony, Zend, etc.). Strong understanding of

MySQL

or other relational databases. Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery. Familiarity with version control tools such as

Git

. Understanding of MVC architecture and RESTful API development. Basic understanding of cloud environments (AWS/Google Cloud) is a plus.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Laravel / Symfony (preferred for modern development). Knowledge of caching systems like Redis or Memcached. Experience with microservices, Docker, or containerization. Knowledge of unit testing and automation tools. Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Pay: ₹12,183.05 - ₹49,104.75 per month
