About the Role

Digitize Matrix is seeking a technically strong and growth-focused

Backend Developer

with 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience. The ideal candidate will be proficient in PHP and Laravel, with added exposure to front-end technologies, cloud hosting, and automation tools. This is a long-term role ideal for candidates looking to enhance their full-stack capabilities and contribute to scalable, high-impact projects.

? Key Responsibilities

Build, maintain, and enhance full-stack web applications. Develop secure and scalable

REST APIs using Laravel

and integrate them with front-end systems. Customize

WordPress themes and plugins

based on project requirements. Manage database design, queries, migrations, and performance optimization. Deploy and manage applications on

AWS, DigitalOcean, VPS, or shared hosting

environments. Create and manage

automation workflows

for CRM, emails, data syncing, and system integrations using tools such as

Zapier, Pabbly, n8n, Make

, or custom cron jobs. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize the performance of backend systems. Collaborate with front-end, design, and project teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

? Required Skill Set

Backend:

PHP, Laravel (strong command over MVC frameworks)

Frontend:

React.js WordPress (Theme & Plugin Customization Preferred)

Database:

MySQL MongoDB

Cloud & Hosting:

AWS / DigitalOcean / cPanel / VPS Deployment, domain management, SSL configuration

Automation & CI/CD:

Zapier, Pabbly, n8n, Make Cron jobs Basic CI/CD pipeline knowledge

? Good to Have

Experience with

Git / GitHub

Basic DevOps knowledge (Nginx/Apache setup, server configuration, domain pointing) UI/UX experience with

Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap

Understanding of scalable architecture and code optimization
