We are seeking a skilled PHP Backend Developer to build, maintain, and optimize server-side web application logic. The candidate will work closely with frontend developers, designers, and product teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance web solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop backend applications using PHP (Laravel / Core PHP / CodeIgniter).
Build and maintain RESTful APIs.
Manage and optimize databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL).
Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
Integrate third-party APIs and services.
Debug, test, and improve application performance.
Write clean, maintainable, and documented code.
Collaborate with frontend developers and project managers.
Handle deployment and server-side troubleshooting.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong knowledge of PHP programming.
Experience with Laravel or similar framework.
Good understanding of MVC architecture.
Experience with MySQL databases.
Knowledge of Git version control.
Understanding of API development.
Basic knowledge of server environments (Linux/Apache/Nginx).
Problem-solving and logical thinking.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Docker or cloud hosting.
Knowledge of Node.js or Python is a plus.
Experience in payment gateway integration.
Understanding of security vulnerabilities.
