Duties
In this position, you will be responsible for:
Conducting assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized service plans.
Providing addiction counseling and support to individuals seeking recovery.
Utilizing motivational interviewing techniques to encourage client engagement and progress.
Implementing crisis management strategies to address immediate client needs effectively.
Collaborating with social work professionals and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care.
Facilitating workshops and training sessions focused on workforce development skills.
Maintaining accurate documentation of client interactions and progress in compliance with Section 8 regulations.
Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
A background in behavioral health, social work, or a related field.
Experience in addiction counseling or working with individuals facing substance use disorders.
Familiarity with motivational interviewing techniques and crisis management practices.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage clients and collaborate with team members.
