Job Description

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled

PHP Developer

with at least 2 years of hands-on experience to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in developing web applications using PHP, strong understanding of databases, and familiarity with front-end technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using PHP and related technologies. Write clean, well-structured, and efficient code following best practices. Work with MySQL/other relational databases for application data storage and retrieval. Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. Debug and resolve technical issues, ensuring optimized performance of applications. Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and web services as required. Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes. Maintain proper documentation of code and technical specifications.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent work experience). Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a PHP Developer. Strong proficiency in

Core PHP

and knowledge of

PHP frameworks

(e.g., Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony). Experience with

MySQL

or other relational databases. Good understanding of

HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX

. Familiarity with

RESTful APIs

and

web services integration

. Experience with

version control systems (Git)

. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Knowledge of security practices in web development.

Good to Have (Optional):

Experience with

Laravel

framework. Familiarity with

CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal, Magento)

. Knowledge of cloud deployment (AWS, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines. Basic understanding of

Agile methodologies
