Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced PHP Developer with strong expertise in the Yii2 framework to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, enhancing, and maintaining scalable web applications and APIs. You will collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality, performant software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the Yii2 PHP framework.
Create and integrate RESTful APIs for internal and external use.
Write clean, reusable, and efficient code adhering to coding standards and best practices.
Debug and troubleshoot application issues, perform unit testing, and ensure quality assurance.
Work with MySQL or PostgreSQL databases: writing queries, optimizing performance, and ensuring data integrity.
Participate in requirement analysis, code reviews, and sprint planning sessions.
Ensure high performance and availability of systems through optimization and maintenance.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

3-5 years of professional experience in PHP development, with a strong focus on Yii2.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and MVC architecture.
Experience in developing RESTful APIs.
Proficient in MySQL, including database design and query optimization.
Working knowledge of front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Yii1 or other PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, Wordpress) is a plus.
Knowledge of unit testing and testing frameworks.
Exposure to Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud hosting (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.).
Understanding of security best practices in web application development.
