Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications using PHP and Symfony. Design and implement backend functionality, APIs, and services. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications for performance and scalability. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Continuously learn and apply new development methodologies, tools, and technologies. Work within an agile development environment, participating in sprints, standups, and planning meetings. Ensure the security and data protection aspects of applications. Work closely with product owners and project managers to understand business requirements and technical specifications.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a PHP Developer with expertise in Symfony framework. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns. Hands-on experience with RESTful API design and development. Proficiency in MySQL (or other relational databases) and working knowledge of database design. Experience with version control systems like Git. Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery. Understanding of modern web security practices and common vulnerabilities. Solid understanding of testing and debugging techniques (unit tests, integration tests, etc.). Ability to work in an Agile development environment (Scrum/Kanban). Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with other PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Zend, etc.). Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.). Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Redis, or other caching mechanisms. Experience working with microservices architectures. Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or Angular is a plus.
