Position Title: PHP System Designer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled PHP System Designer with expertise in PHP, MySQL, Stored Procedures, Linux, and API development. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing scalable, high-performance systems and possess strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. System Design and Development:

Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure PHP-based applications. Create modular, reusable components and APIs that meet business requirements.
2. Database Management:

Design relational database schemas and optimize MySQL performance. Develop complex Stored Procedures, triggers, and views for efficient data processing. Ensure data integrity and database normalization.
3. API Design and Integration:

Design and implement RESTful APIs adhering to best practices. Integrate with third-party APIs and ensure secure and efficient data exchange. Develop API documentation for internal and external use.
4. System Deployment and Management:

Deploy and maintain PHP applications on Linux servers. Monitor server performance, handle troubleshooting, and perform system updates. Manage file permissions, cron jobs, and shell scripting when required.
5. Performance Optimization:

Optimize PHP code and database queries for better performance. Implement caching mechanisms (e.g., Redis, Memcached) and ensure high availability.
6. Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with frontend developers, system administrators, and project stakeholders. Effectively communicate system designs, updates, and challenges to technical and non-technical audiences. Participate in regular project meetings and provide status updates.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Strong experience in PHP development (OOP, MVC frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter). Proficiency in MySQL database design, optimization, and development of Stored Procedures. Solid understanding of Linux environments (Ubuntu, CentOS) for deployment and administration. Experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs. Proficient in writing clean, optimized, and maintainable code. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of performance tuning techniques (e.g., indexing, caching). Good understanding of security best practices (SQL Injection, XSS prevention, etc.). Familiarity with version control systems like Git. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly.
Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Basic knowledge of frontend technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Relevant certifications will be a plus.
